Job Summary:

Our Client seeks an Attorney with 6+ years' experience to join our insurance coverage litigation group. This practice represents international and national insurers on corporate insurance matters, handling insurance coverage investigations and disputes under all types of policies, including fidelity, directors and officers, employment, professional, property, excess and general liability policies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experience attorney who is able to work within a busy and fast-paced team environment.

**The open position is for an Attorney located in Los Angeles or Orange County but we are also open to other locations in California and elsewhere for the right candidate.**

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations for clients
  • Draft pleadings and briefs, and correspondence to clients
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
  • Draft interrogatories and document demands
  • Review document collections in preparation for litigation
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required
  • Submit filings to the court

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the CA Bar
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong insurance coverage experience required
  • Commercial Litigation experience required
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
